Yes, of course they do… if your goal is to SPREAD the virus. The CDC, Mainstream Media and Democrat lawmakers have been preaching lockdowns as the end all, only way to combat the spread of COVID-19. I disagree. I’m not a doctor. And I don’t pretend to be one. I just have common sense. In, my opinion, lockdowns increase the spread of the virus. I’ve been saying this since this whole thing started. Statistics from states like Texas and Arkansas, who have seen their infection rates decline since lifting COVID restrictions, would suggest I’m right.
“Lord” Anthony Fauci, the left’s God of Infectious Disease, came out and publicly shamed states like Texas, Florida, Arkansas and others for easing and, in some cases ending restrictions. Spring Break in Florida was going to cause massive spread. I haven’t heard much about the “super spreader event” known as Spring Break lately. I guess that story is dead. Fauci is now puzzled, or should I say disappointed by the fact that Arkansas and Texas are seeing declining numbers of cases since removing restrictions 2 and 3 weeks ago.
What we know:
- Businesses like restaurants, bars and gyms, who have had some of the toughest restrictions have shown to be responsible for just 1% to 3% of all cases.
- Work (31%), Home (30%) and Travel (13%) account for a majority of cases.
- You have a 1 in 10,000 chance of catching from a surface according to the CDC.
- The virus dies within 30 seconds of being exposed to ultraviolet light, like the sun.
All of this, explains why states like Texas, Arkansas, Florida and North Dakota have done so much better than predicted by “Lord” Fauci. Lockdowns drive people closer together. It might be a house party. It might be family gatherings. People are just going to find a way to get together and have social interactions. Keeping bars, restaurants, gyms, etc. closed, isn’t going to solve anything. Keep in mind, Fauci and Democratic governors like Cuomo, Newson and Whitmer know this. Though Fauci’s an idiot, not a stupid idiot. He is a useful idiot for the left. It’s all about control. Right now, he and the left are losing it and trying everything to maintain it. The more fear they can instill in Americans, the more control they have and fewer rights we have.
In my opinion, easing restrictions gives people the ability to get out of the house and away from people, at least further than they would be locked up at home or work. How long are you within 6 feet of someone you don’t know or aren’t related to at a restaurant or gym? Probably not very long. So, to me, it makes sense that the spread of the virus would at least remain stable if not reduce without restrictions. That’s what we saw last summer. The numbers dropped during the warm weather months when people were finally getting out. So, these governors and law makers/tyrants who are continuing to keep mask mandates, stay-at-home orders and closed economies are doing more harm than good. People will make the right decision for themselves. And they have the Constitutional right to do so.
